 Sydney Private Chef and Terrigal Whole Foods  are seeking an experienced and passionate Second Chef to support our Head and Executive Chefs to oversee operations at our kitchen and cafe located in beautiful Erina on the Central Coast.

 Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily kitchen operations and managing the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
• Creating innovative and diverse menus, showcasing the best possible ingredients.
• Implementing efficient kitchen processes and cost-effective practices to enhance productivity.
• Maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
• Collaborating with management to plan and execute special events and private catering services.
• Showcase your culinary creativity by developing innovative and mouthwatering dishes that delight our clients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the highest quality standards and seamless service delivery.
• Foster a warm and inviting environment for clients, delivering excellent care throughout their dining experience.
• Stay up-to-date with food trends, industry innovations, and client preferences to continuously enhance our offerings.
• Listen to client feedback and go the extra mile to exceed their expectations and ensure their satisfaction.

We would love for you to join our team if you have:

• Proven experience as a Second or  Chef De Partie 
• A genuine passion for food and a creative approach to culinary creations.
• Proven experience in the food industry, showcasing your ability to innovate and develop new dishes.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring each client's unique needs are met and exceeded.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse culinary team.
• A passion for food, with a keen eye for quality and presentation.
• Creative culinary skills and the ability to curate diverse menus that cater to different dietary requirements.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry.

Salary and Benefits: This is a salaried position offering a competitive remuneration package of $65000to $75000 per annum, with the potential for performance-based bonuses. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, surrounded by like-minded individuals who are dedicated to culinary excellence.
