The role may involve:
Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance)
Bowel and Catheter Care
Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists)
Our ideal candidate will have:
Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability
Flexible and good availability
Essential criteria:
An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person- centered support
Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
Personal Hygiene, Bowel Care, Catheter Care and Hoist experience
A valid driver's license
NDIS Worker Screening Check
The legal right to work in Australia
Current Police Check
Current CPR & First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
Excellent communication skills
A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities
