A contract opportunity exists for a dynamic HPE (Health and Physical Education) Teacher to join our Senior Campus team in 2024. This is a fixed term, maternity relief position until December 2024, with an ideal start of Week 8, Term 1.
The HPE Teacher is responsible for working as a member of a professional and collaborative team to promote learning and improve student outcomes through direct teaching and participation in our co-curricular programme.
Applicants will have:
- knowledge of the Australian Curriculum as it relates to the teaching of Health and Physical Education,
- demonstrated high level communication skills,
- confidence in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning,
- tertiary qualifications in Education,
- current registration with the Tasmanian Teacher’s Registration Board, or be eligible for registration,
- current registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania) or be eligible for registration.
- are committed to and/or experienced in supporting the wellbeing and safety of students.
All staff participate in events, activities and co-curricular programs as well as undertake professional duties and meetings as required.
