Role Description:
Seventh-day Adventist Schools (South Queensland) Ltd is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to teach secondary English at Darling Downs Adventist College (formerly known as Darling Downs Christian School) on a full time basis.
As an excellent classroom teacher, the successful applicant will have a deep and broad knowledge of current issues and best practice in education, demonstrating the capacity to work harmoniously with teams. Both experienced teachers and graduates are invited to apply.
Darling Downs Adventist College is located within the garden city of Toowoomba. The K-12 school has an enrolment of approximately 330 and provides a family atmosphere where students have close and supportive contact with their teachers and peers. Application Requirements:
The successful applicant will hold a relevant teaching qualification (degree level) and be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers to teach in Queensland. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the college.
