About the role -

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teacher with a combination of English (preferably) and one or more of the following, Humanities, Media Arts, Drama or Religion at St Augustine’s College. This is a Full-time fixed term position commencing as soon as possible until 6 December 2024.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to meet the following criteria:

• Hold appropriate qualifications and experience across a combination of areas in English and one or more of the following subjects; Humanities, Media Arts, Drama, Religion.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
• Proven organisational skills,
• A clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum,
• An ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers,

The College works in a 1:1 Laptop environment currently from Year 7 and is genuinely P - 12 College. There are a range of co-curricular learning experiences including cultural and sport opportunities.

• Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
• Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
