The Role
The College is seeking to appoint a Part TimeSecondary Teacher (Humanities) to commence Term 2 2024, who is committed to delivering quality learning experiences that see students achieve their personal best.
This position is Part Time 4 days per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from Term 2 to Term 4 2024.
All teaching staff at Coomera Anglican College are expected to take part in the whole life of the College, including participation and involvement in pastoral care, sport, cocurricular activities and special event days.
To be successful, you will:
- Be passionate about and have experience in teaching Humanities in Years 7 to 10.
- Be able to differentiate to cater for the individual needs of your students and deliver a high-quality learning experience
- Demonstrate contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies
- Incorporate digital technologies into effective teaching and learning
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
- Be able to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader College community
