The Security Architect will provide technical leadership and guidance within the domain to translate business requirements into architectural patterns and solution designs that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
The role plays a key role in the strategy, design and governance of strategic investment to align to the evolving technology requirements of the organisation.
This role will work across the Digital, Technology, and Data team to ensure alignment of solution requirements with security policies, standards and reusable patterns.
About you:
- Relevant experience in security concepts
- Ability to provide technical input to strategic planning activities
- Experience in creating/defining reusable patterns for secure delivery, implementation, and operation of solutions
- Demonstrated experience in solutions that meet business requirements
- Ability to define security requirements and solutions in line with industry standards, guidelines and frameworks.
- Strong technical and architectural documentation capability
- Strong analytical and conceptual thought abilities
- Technical requirements analysis skillset
- Proven experience in monitoring, managing, maintaining, and designing security requirement for enterprise scale solutions
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
- Experience in development and use of contemporary deployment methodologies
- Strong Stakeholder engagement experience
- Design of end-to-end architecture to support security across the enterprise
- Business case development
- Creation and review of technical infrastructure or system designs to ensure consistency with set standards and policies
- Architectural governance role during the delivery, providing technical leadership for solution designers and development teams
- Point of security escalation for solution enhancements and capability development
- Leading in the analysis of current and transition state analysis and solution options for large and complex solutions
- Contributing to the process of business process design, case design, and information design and modelling
- Take initiative and propose recommendations about improvements to Ramsay’s security posture to meet changing business needs
- Liaise with vendors and company partners where appropriate.
- Ensure alignment with business requirements in terms of fit for purpose, capacity planning and licensing obligations
- Maintenance and development of documentation
- Maintain an excellent knowledge of industry/vendor products and solutions
- Experience in enterprise scale technologies
- Experience with SABSA and/or TOGAF
- Previous experience working in a health care environment
- Experience in supporting virtual/remote environments
- Experience in hyper-scale Cloud environments
- Graduate qualifications in computing
