Security Architect

The Organisation

Opportunity to join a large Financial Institution mid way through a large security uplift on an initial 12-Month Day Rate Contract.

The Role

• Manage the successful delivery of information security projects
• Develop solutions and recommendations for process challengers, emerging threats and technology changes
• Guide technical teams in addressing risk and vulnerabilities
• Identity and document information security risk
• Oversee the evaluation and selection of application, data, infrastructure technology and products from a security lens
• Provide Security Architecture leadership and technical design and guidance

About You
  
We are looking for a Security architect who has strong experience in security tooling implementation as well as a background in security infrastructure and systems/networks.
  
Someone who has broad knowledge and is happy to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty from time to time would suit this position.

• Demonstrated Security Architecture experience with a proven ability to develop security domain architecture and domain roadmaps
• Experience in documenting, socialising and presenting Security Architecture, design and key decisions during engagements
• Experience working in heavily regulated industries and standards such as APRA CPS 234, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, ISO 27001K
• Experience performing threat modelling (MITRE ATT&CK) and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements
• Nice to haves SABSA or TOGAF
