- Hours are flexible between 8am and 5pm
This is a Part Time Bookkeeper / payroll position working Monday to Thursday with an opportunity to move into a full-time position.
To be successful in this role, you must have all of the following attributes:
- At minimum 2 to 3 years working in payroll and bookkeeping in Australia.
- Preparation and lodgement of statutory compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax).
- Processing end to end payroll medium to large, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as superannuation, payroll tax, and Workcover lodgement.
- Administrative duties such as data entry, renewing insurances, workcover, credit card payments and other duties that support the function of our business.
- Filling in for staff who are on Annual Leave, so that our systems continue to flow whilst they are absent.
- Collating purchase orders, invoices and statements.
- Data Entry into Xero accounting system including Fasttrack
- Daily Debtors reporting
- Daily Debt collection
- Daily Invoicing
- Entering staff details
- Weekly report to the Director and Branch Manager
- Accounts receivable including EOM reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Generally Filing and administration work as required
About You
- Must have Australian Experience in bookkeeping and Payroll
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Able to multi-task, work to deadlines and under pressure
- Confidence and ability to liaise with all levels of people.
- Mature, reliable, and committed attitude
- Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
