About the role:
As the Security Contracts & Project Support Manager, you will be the linchpin in our security operations, providing critical oversight across multiple security projects. Your expertise will ensure that all security-related projects at Sydney Airport are progressing smoothly, with a particular focus on maintaining operational excellence in line with SLAs and KPIs.
Working closely with our Operational, Project, Procurement & Legal teams, you will play a key role in the negotiation, review and management of security related contracts, ensuring they support our operational needs and project deliverables seamlessly.
What you'll do:
- Manage and oversee Security Contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project goals and day-to-day operational requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement and security teams to expedite contract processes, from creation to execution.
- Coordinate administrative support for security project meetings, ensuring timely completion of actions and deliverables.
- Drive contract efficiency, minimising operational risks and enhancing customer experience.
- Facilitate and oversee the approval process for payments related to contracted security services and equipment.
About you:
- Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, or a related field, preferably within a large business or a high value contract.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage relationships across large projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Analytical thinker with commercial acumen and a knack for identifying improvement opportunities.
