OSMAC is currently seeking a Security Equipment Apprentice, with one of the biggest Security Installer Group in North Queensland.
Your day-to-day role will include either project installs or service within both the private and Government sectors.
Responsibilities include installing and service/maintenance of Electronic Security Systems Alarms, CCTV and Access Control, and Intercoms and down the track along with fault finding.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the positions the applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology
- National Police Check (within last 3 months)
- Must be willing to undergo a Full Criminal History Check
- Pass a drug and alcohol test and medical exam
- Must have or ability to apply for a Security Installers Licence
- Possess a manual driver’s licence with reliable transport
- COVID Vaccination is also required for role
- Be punctual and have a good attendance record
- Be motivated and have a good attitude towards work
- Work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
- Follow instructions well and sound problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow all workplace processes and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Good math understanding
- White card and some experience in using hand tools
- Able to work safely
- Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
- Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade.
- A genuine interest in data/security field is a must. This is a 4 year (and beyond) commitment from our customers
- Live locally in the Cairns area
- Available to travel within the NQ Region
