Due to anticipated growth throughout Central Queensland, we are seeking experienced Security Guards to fill casual and permanent vacancies working across 4 of our flagship villages in the Moranbah/Dysart region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of effective and responsive security services, interacting with clients, residents, visitors, staff and contractors on a daily basis. As such, you will be a confident communicator and able to respond to queries in a professional manner.
Roster is 7 days on, 7 days off and this is a drive-in, drive-out role, therefore locals are encouraged to apply and must have own reliable transport.
Accommodation and meals are supplied.
The Position
- Ensure site integrity and safety
- Site access control for people and vehicles
- Mobile security checks of site perimeter, camp and laydown areas
- Maintain daily security logs
- Emergency response and incident control
- Crowd control for bar and tavern areas
The Person
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Minimum qualification of Cert II Security Operations
- Hold a valid QLD Security Officers license which includes crowd control
- Current first aid and CPR certificates
