The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.Casual role for Security Officers with Control room and Concierge experienceShifts ranging from 4 hour shifts to 12 hour shiftsWork with a industry leader and Employer of choiceAbout the roleMSS Security is looking for Security Officers to provide Control room and Concierge services at multiple client sites across Melbourne CBD. The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:Monitor CCTV footage to ensure that assets are protected, to detect any signs of a security breachEscalate issues if any to relevant MSS managersCreate and issue access passes for contractors, clients and customers on siteMaintain logs, completing necessary paperwork and use of computer systemsRespond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiriesSkills & experienceVerifiable experience in Control room and Concierge dutiesCurrent VIC Security Licence with control room licenceCertificate II (or higher) in Security OperationsVictorian drivers’ licenceCurrent First Aid and CPRFull availability through the week to pick up shifts - Day as well as Night work availableHow to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
