Qualifications & experience
- Security License (Victoria)
- First Aid Certificate (current)
- Working with Children Check
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (current)
- Flexibility (events are dynamic) and availability (events are frequently evenings and weekends)
- Enjoy working with people (customer centric approach)
- Reliability and punctuality
- Appreciate events, sport, and entertainment!
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service including event information
- Bag checking & wanding (check for restricted and prohibited items)
- Maintain conditions of entry
- Crowd Control duties
- Monitor crowd behaviour and RSA
- Monitor, respond and report relevant incidents
- Secure restricted areas
- Protect event assets
- Prepare general security records and reports
- Managing restricted areas including back of house, field of play, and performance areas or protect event assets or people
