About the role: The Security Officer maintains security of PathWest laboratories in the QEII Medical Centre complex.  This role monitors after hours mortuary admissions and handles public and internal enquiries; co-ordinates receipt and delivery of urgent clinical specimens; monitors after hours staff within complex; maintains the integrity of electronic and manual security systems; responds to alarms and emergency calls and co-ordinates the callout of Pathologists and on-call scientists and laboratory staff when needed.
