About the role
We are looking for dedicated security personnel to join our night crew to provide safety and a security presence in our aged care community. You will be responsible for overseeing resident security and the safety of our team within the facility and working with the clinical team in emergency management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols and scheduled security checks of the entire facility and its surroundings
- Monitoring the CCTV surveillance system and reviewing footage as necessary
- Alerting authorities if needed for emergencies and security breaches
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points
- Respond to alarms or suspicious noises, and report in a timely manner
- Take directives from the clinical nurse in the event of an emergency such as severe weather, fire, and evacuation.
- Submit incident reports on all suspicious activities, security concerns and issues to COO including residents exiting seeking overnight
- Protect and maintain confidential information
