Your new role We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Officer to join our Protective Security and Critical infrastructure (PSCI) Team, reporting to the Security Risk and Governance Manager. In this role, you will provide essential onsite administrative support, including records management, and creating and maintaining data across various systems. You will order and coordinate equipment and materials for daily operations, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and assist with onboarding and offboarding requests. Additionally, you will serve as the administrator for the Security Incident Reporting Tool, develop internal access reports, and facilitate CCTV requests for business and law enforcement. You will support the Security Risk and Governance Manager with Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) compliance reporting, CRIMP components, and document reporting processes. Furthermore, you will develop PSCI operational procedures, conduct regular reviews and quality assurance of PSCI documentation, support security investigations and incident resolution,

  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office and systems.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.

  • Established interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholder groups.
  • Recognised analytical, problem solving and decision making skills within an intelligence organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable administration and processing.
  • Highly evident communication skills both written and oral.
  • Highly desired minimum of (10 yrs) experience in a law enforcement or intelligence organisation
  • NSW Security licence class 2A
