The Opportunity:
Southern Cross Group is currently seeking Site Security Supervisor across in Sydney areas with current security license. As a professional Security Officer, your expertise in client and customer relationships and asset protection will be well utilized in this role. Candidate’s suitability for a particular role will be determined during the interviews and based on compliance requirements for the client.
This is a full-time role, and you will be paid by the current Security Industry Award with all the relevant entitlements.
Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Effectively manage and lead a small to medium size security team, liaising with stakeholders.
- Effectively and professionally undertake written and verbal communications with all stakeholders.
- Ability to manage security incidents and investigations.
- Assist and support with induction and training needs of security staff, ensure any gaps are identified and appropriate training & development is delivered.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all WHS legislation.
- To establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with all stakeholders.
- Professional working knowledge of the Security Industry related legislation and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop security standards, policies and procedures.
- The ability to confidently present to all levels within the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components.
- Monitoring and actioning of email/phone call requests from client.
Skills:
- Relevant experience in managing and leading teams.
- Proficient use of computers Word/ Excel and access control systems.
- Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to think clearly, problem-solve and priorities tasks.
- NSW Security License
- Current First Aid
