About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Lead/Site Supervisor, to work within a diverse team assisting the Site Manager in the supervision and coordination of security services on site, in a state-of-the-art control room. You will be responsible for team management, badging & access as well as providing high levels of customer service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing day to day supervision of staff on site while assisting the Site Manager as needed.
- Ensuring all new employees are fully inducted in accordance with company policy.
- Managing badging and access on site, while also managing the customer service desk.
- Promoting customer service by providing professional, polite and helpful assistance to client enquiries
- Ensuring prompt attention is given to any customer dissatisfaction by communicating to the relevant MSS Manager.
- Roll out toolbox-talks and relay other memos and company information as directed.
- Provide positive leadership by example to all reports.
- Occasionally step in and cover for the Site Manager as needed.
Skills & experience
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- NSW Security Licence as per individual state requirements
- NSW Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain site specific clearances as required.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a leadership/supervisor position.
- Personal alertness and the ability to remain focused.
- The ability to deal with the public in a customer centric, patient and personable manner.
- Managerial experience and/or skills
- Strong knowledge of security procedures
