QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years as a security industry technician
- Valid WA driver’s licence (C class minimum)
- National police clearance
- WA Security Installers Licence
- WA Construction White Card
- Open Registration Cabling Licence
- Willingness to work in Perth metro and regional areas
- Strong problem-solving, detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Independent and team work capabilities
- Physical fitness, ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Highly Desirable:
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of security systems brands like Uniview, Hikvision, Dahua, Alarm.com, Bosch, DSC, Ness, Hills Reliance, Inception, Integrity, AiPhone, Fermax, Ubiquity
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems (CCTV, alarms, intercoms, access control)
- Support deaf and hard of hearing clients with life-enhancing electronic systems
- Run data and security cabling for connectivity
- Conduct site surveys for installation requirements
- Collaborate with clients for tailored security solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Maintain accurate installation records and documentation
