About the Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll be responsible for various tasks aimed at supporting and empowering our participants. These include but are not limited to:
- Providing companionship
- Community access and transportation
- Liaison with families, co-workers, and support coordinators
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR (annual)
- National Police Children Check (less than 6 months old)
- Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS workers screening check
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (three doses)
Preferred but not Essential:
- Industry experience
- Certificate 3 or relevant qualifications
- Experience working with challenging behaviors
