Semi Crane Truck Operator

Complete Frames is a leading provider of prefabricated timber frames and roof trusses, and we are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Crane Truck Driver to join our team. As a Crane Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods using our crane-equipped trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and manoeuvre the Crane Truck to transport materials to various locations.
• Secure loads properly to ensure they are stable during transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the Crane Truck, reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials using the crane.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members.

Requirements:

• Valid HC (Heavy Combination Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience operating a Crane Truck or similar heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Ability to operate the crane and handle loads with precision and accuracy.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
