About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial transactions from end to end. This includes overseeing accrual processing, prepayments, and conducting thorough reviews of Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions.
Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:
- General Accounting
- Financial Reporting
- Forecasting & Budgeting
- Statutory Reporting
- Treasury & Projects
About You
The successful candidate should have a solid background in accounting, ideally within FMCG or a manufacturing environment, and demonstrate the following key attributes:
- Analytical Skills – the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Leadership Abilities – with one direct report you will provide guidance and mentorship
- Attention to Detail – meticulous attention to detail is a must to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting
- Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders
- Problem Solving – Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies
