Opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join one of the world's largest privately owned logistics business. The role will be assisting with post-acquisition work as the company has recently acquired a business in their space. The role commences as a 12-month contract with the view of potential extension. The role will be based in the Northern suburbs and be a hybrid role involving at least 3 days from the office.

Description
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Integration of the financial systems of the merged entities and adoption of uniform accounting, internal control, and practices throughout the organisation.
- Identification and implementation of process improvement practices to gain efficiency and accuracy across the group. - The analysis and provision of financial information to the key stakeholders (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO and Other Business Unit leaders)
- Budgeting, Forecasting, analysis
- Month end reporting
- GL, Balance sheet Reconciliations and other month end activities
- Review, improve & implement internal financial control procedures - Assist with financial planning
- Delivering continuous improvement projects within the financial management area
- Effective labor management for appropriate levels of further education and annual leave
- Ad hoc project accounting tasks
Profile
- CA/CPA Or at least partly qualified
- Tertiary qualifications
- Availability at short notice
- Experience with SAP Ideal
- Exposure to a large fast-paced organisation
- Excellent communication skills
