About the role

If you are looking for an exciting role in a great team, based right here in northern Gold Coast we would love for you to apply. The role is full-time and is dynamic and . 

Your duties and role will include:

• Have a thorough understanding of accounting principles. 
• Complete and file BAS, IAS and other ATO requirements as needed
• Month end procedures including reconciling accounts, processing accruals and reporting. 
• Drive the month end process to ensure that information is accurate and timely. 
• Provide training, support, and guidance to Accounts Payable / Assistant Accountant and to other finance team members. 
• Liaise with various stakeholders
• Compare actuals to budget at a centre level on a monthly basis 
• Assist in the annual budget process
• Suggest improvements to enhance processes and procedures

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in accounting
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Self motivated
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office

Preferred, but not necessary:

• Experience in Xero
