About the Opportunity
As an integral member of the Business Advisory team, you will be working alongside clients and staff to achieve our key goal of providing high quality service.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to help our clients achieve their business needs. Working as part of our Business Advisory team, you will also be required to prepare and present financial reports; helping clients to understand the changing conditions of their business environment on a regular basis.
Salary commensurate with knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders, and the ability to liaise via face to face, phone, email and Zoom
- Providing tax advice to clients, including Income Tax, CGT, GST, PAYG, FBT, Payroll Tax, Division 7A
- Assist with strategic client meetings and ongoing business mentoring
- Managing own workflow and budgets
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns using electronic workpapers
- Preparation and review of Business Activity Statements
Key Requirements and Experience:
- A completed degree in accounting or related field
- 4+ years public practice, business services and Tax experience in Australia
- CA / CPA qualification, or working towards
- Strong professional presentation towards clients and colleagues, proven in a similar client-facing role
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
