The CompanyOur client is a boutique Public Practice firm who specialises in Tax and Advisory services for UHNW individuals and companies with turnover of $100M+. Offering a bespoke service, their clientele is highly established and diverse.
The Role
As the Senior Accountant you will manage a portfolio of complex tax and compliance clients whilst working across Advisory Services projects. Your main duties will include;
- Preparing income tax returns and financial statements for clients ranging from Companies, UHNW Individuals, Partnerships, Sole Traders, SMSF and Trusts
- Attending to other business-related matters for clients including preparation of BAS, IAS, fringe benefits tax, tax planning, payroll assistance and any other tax or Business Services related matters
- Assisting in managing a portfolio of clients
- Managing the workflow for the Junior Accountants including reviewing their work and developing their skillsets
- Business Advisory projects; financial modelling, complex tax advice, succession planning, asset sales and acquisitions
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- CA or CPA qualified (or part-qualified)
- Solid understanding and knowledge of Australian Tax Legislation
- 7+ years of public practice accounting experience
- Advanced Xero, MYOB and Excel skills
- Client Manager/Partnership Pathway
- Hybrid work model (1 day in office, 4 days from home)
