Joining a small but dynamic boutique firm with big growth plans for interstate, you'll be located in a vibrant office building in Melbourne CBD. The firm offer a range of accounting services to SMEs and high-net-worth clients from various industries, such as construction, builders, crypto/blockchain, real estate, and retail. Due to a recent move, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a new team member.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant in the team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and other accounting tasks for clients. You'll also liaise with clients and provide them with professional advice and solutions. Working closely with the Manager and Managing Director, there will be the opportunity to learn and grow in your role.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public practice accounting
- A degree in accounting or a related field
- CA/CPA qualification or commenced
- Proficiency in Xero software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- A willingness to learn and grow
