About the Position
There is one full-time, permanent position for immediate filling.
Applicants assessed as suitable (but not recommended for appointment) during this selection process may be appointed to other similar fixed term, casual or permanent (full-time or part-time) vacancies that may occur throughout the Corporation over the coming 12 months.
The Senior Accountant assists in the efficient financial and management accounting functions and associated systems for the Corporation, including preparation of annual financial statements, key performance indicators, budget compilation, expenditure and revenue monitoring and forecasts, cashflows, maintenance of SIMS and preparation of monthly reports.
The role will also interpret and apply Treasures Instructions and Accounting standard, assist the Financial Services Manager in reviewing the Corporation's OBM framework when necessary and develops financial policies to ensure the Corporation's compliance with applicable legislation.
