Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and provide insightful analysis to support our business operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, experience with BHP accounts, SAP/ARIBA experience & exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Accurate Records: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions for each business.
- Budget Monitoring: Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets, providing regular updates and insights to support financial decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each business, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ideally Xero experience) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
