About The Role We have an exciting mat leave (12-month contract) full time opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer to join our Salvos Store Finance team in Mount Waverley, Melbourne.
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be supporting with all account Payable and accounts receivable duties and reporting and processing of financial information. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Process Accounts Payable invoices, Petty Cash and the reconciliation of suppliers’ statements and review, verify for payments. Accounts Receivable: Ensure that all invoices are processed correctly and timely.
Maintain the debtor detail and update the AR ledger/chart frequently Reporting: Assist with the production of various financial and management reports. Prepare monthly accruals and assisting with month end and year end closing and reporting Provide support and assistance as required in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Management About
You Key Capabilities: Demonstrated experience in a similar role Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements of the role: Diploma in accounting is preferred A national police record check is required A financial check is required A current Victorian Drivers licence is preferred Why
