Accounts Payable Officer - Leading Transport Business

The purpose of this role is to ensure all Accounts Payable tasks are completed in a timely manner.Ideally candidates should have a minimum of 12/24 months relevant AP experience and ideally have worked in the logistics/transport industry. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be organised and work towards deadlines is also necessary. A background of working in a team environment and strong Excel skills is essential. Your responsibilities will include obtaining departmental approval for invoices, promptly addressing vendor inquiries, and performing essential filing, copying, and scanning tasks. Proactively managing the payment cycle, you will ensure timely payments to prevent overdue accounts and mitigate late payment fees. As a key point of contact, you will investigate and resolve disputed or unpaid charges, maintaining the integrity of financial data to guarantee its accuracy.
