Our client is a privately owned towing and transport business with a national presence. Due to growth within the business, they now require an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to be responsible for all aspects of the AR function including invoicing, debt collection, receipting and banking.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Receipt incoming funds including credit card payments;
- Manage all invoicing and debt collection;
- Process payment reconciliations & payment offsets;
- Process new customer accounts including performing credit checks;
- Produce customer statements and maintain the AR Inbox
- Assist in Audit Preparation as well ad perform month end processes;
- Coordinate stationary stock control;
- Complete other ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
- Previous experience working within Accounts Receivable and debt collection is essential;
- Possess a qualification in Finance or Accounting is desirable;
- Highly organised with excellent time management and high attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Highly competent with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel;
- Be a self starter with the ability to take initiative.
