This role plays a lead and strategic role within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office.
Why your Role Matters
As the Senior Admissions Officer you will play a key role in the Division of Academic & Student Life, Registrar and Student Services (RaSS) portfolio as the first point of contact for key priority agents in relation to Admissions matters, triaging urgent and complex cases and liaising with Faculty staff to ensure priority cases are returned promptly.
Who you are:
- A relevant degree or Associate Diploma and experience in Higher Education or related area, and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience successfully dealing with a variety of stakeholders from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Highly developed customer service skills with an innovative approach to go the extra mile.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an organised, accurate manner with excellent attention to detail and experience with large-volume and peak processing periods/workflows.
- Advanced level of computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases (e.g. CRM, student management systems).
- Demonstrated capacity to contribute positively to and accept change in a dynamic working environment
