We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Advanced Application Engineer to join our HPS team out of any of our Honeywell, Australian office.
Reporting to the Senior Application Engineering Manager the primary purpose of this role is to deliver superior customer satisfaction with the HPS Technical Support response, communication, and resolution of customer cases for the HPS System and Infrastructure line of business.
This position can be based out of anywhere in Australia and we will consider applications from any of the major cities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent remote technical support specialized in Experion DCS system with focus on Client Server discipline
- Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues, and input accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreement.
- Respond to customer inquiries by diagnosing the issue and providing the most appropriate technical solution.
- Comply with all GTAC/GSM processes for case management, documentation, and proactive customer communication.
- Provide local affiliates with periodic updates, so that they can interface effectively with the customer using current information.
- Maintain accurate and timely case comments and notes as per GTAC process.
- Proactively escalate issues through GTAC Leadership, development engineer and account team channels.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Engineering in Control automation, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, or related streams
- 5+ Years of experience in Honeywell Experion System with expertise in multiple areas of Experion Client/Server discipline in Server Scripting, Reports, Configuration, History, Trend, Redundancy, Event Sync, Notifications, DSA, GDA, TPS integration and CDA Integration.
- Experience in Station - Flex Stations, Console Stations, Collaboration Station, Remote Engineering Station Server, Safeview, HMIWeb, HMIWeb Solution Pack, eServer and Orion OTP
- Experience in SCADA protocols like MODBUS, AB & DNP3.
- Experience in OPC-Server, Client, RDM and OPC UA
- Experion installation and configuration (R4xx & R5xx)
Advantageous to have:
- Experience in TRACE, Enabled Services, SIT, SPA, DVM, TPS, and CDA integration
- Expertise in Experion FTE network and Virtualization.
