As an Advertiser Client Success Lead you’ll help to develop, grow and strengthen our strategic client partnerships. You’ll be responsible for a dynamic portfolio of tier 1 ANZ brand and agency advertisers from different vertices and help to drive their performance or brand awareness KPIs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about content, has strong client-facing experience, and is ready to hit the ground running at an exciting, growing company.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role, it is essential that you have:
- Minimum 6+ year’s experience in a results driven, client facing role within adtech industry or other relevant digital advertising company
- Hands-on ad-operations experience – campaign set-up, monitoring, optimization and reporting on campaign success
- Strong analytical skills – monitoring and identification of trends in data and generation of actionable insights in reports to clients
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills (handled a minimum of 10 accounts), driving portfolio growth according to potential
- Outstanding communication skills - fluent in English and native level Japanese
- A true passion for online content and in-depth knowledge of web marketing
- An eagerness to understand and present opportunities to clients looking for infinite scale
- Bachelor Degree in Business Management/Marketing/Media Post graduate Diploma in any of these areas
It would be great if you also have:
- Knowledge and experience of working with native advertising platforms
- An understanding of the online publisher landscape within ANZ
- Familiarity working with technology – the ability to pick up technical concepts and product knowledge quickly and learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization from a technical point of view
What will I do on a regular basis?
- Manage and grow relationships with premium advertiser/media clients and strategic partners. Manage existing account clients and identifies further sales opportunities within these accounts
- Monitor and analyse metrics and proactively take steps to improve campaign results
- Proactive Consultation - ensuring that clients are following the best practices and maximizing every opportunity to achieve account success on the platform
- Regular market/client visits to establish solid partnership and relationships, assessing needs and identify upsell opportunities
- Preparation and presentation of Sales Proposal based on target clients’ needs by understanding the clients e.g. the importance of ROI for performance advertisers
- Prepare quotations and active participation in negotiations pertaining to contract terms and offers
- Develop excellent technological skills and ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaigns successful implementation and optimization
- Constantly keep oneself updated on market/industry trends competitors’ offerings
- Follow up with clients to actively manage retention and satisfaction, resolving any issues that arise
- Strategic book of business management - service clients in accordance to importance and potential within your portfolio, spotting opportunities for scale, product rollout and to further meet client needs
- Account insights and strategy – analysing and creating custom reports and identifying actionable insights for clients to support your drive for account growth
- Client education and proactive consultation – Ensuring that clients are following best practice and maximising every opportunity to achieve account success on the platform.
- Campaign management – handling of first level technical requests - implementation of conversion tracking codes, targeting, spending caps, pacing, etc. - and escalation of second level technical requests to Ad Ops in order to launch a campaign successfully
- Upsell and Cross-sell - focus on rollout of new product features and additional campaigns as well as international account expansion
- Client meetings and QBRs - conducting quarterly business review meetings with key clients whereby participants can range from junior to C-level within the client organisation
