Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and enhancement of our existing portfolio of Accredited Suppliers and Builder Members in the Greater Sydney Region. This role isn't just about Business Development; this role offers a unique opportunity for ambitious individuals to spearhead growth within the organization, with the potential for significant professional advancement and financial reward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with current Builder Members to review supplier performance and explore new opportunities.
- Prospect and onboard new Builder Members, ensuring alignment with our vision and values.
- Negotiate with suppliers on behalf of builder members and pass on leads or get quotes as appropriate
- Identify gaps in our supplier portfolio and conduct market research to onboard suitable partners.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of a weekly e-newsletter for marketing purposes.
- Handle general administrative tasks associated with account management
Skills and Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, listening, and sales skills; capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels, from Boardroom to Tradie.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. This is not a role for the sloppy or lazy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and analytical skills are essential.
- Prior experience in sales, particularly within a new business environment, is essential.
- Knowledge of the residential building industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary - $80,000/per annum
On Target Earnings - $118,000/per annum
Annual Car Allowance - $10,000
