Senior Adviser Asset Management

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Adviser Asset Management with one of QLD's largest local councils based in Brisbane's south east. This role offers the chance to lead and provide expert advice in the efficient, sustainable, and timely management of open space assets. Reporting to the Service Manager Civic and Open Space Asset Management, the successful candidate will be crucial in developing, implementing, and improving Asset Management plans while ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project and change management activities related to asset planning, development, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement Asset Management plans in accordance with legislative requirements and best practices.
• Manage budgets, systems, and practices to ensure sustainable provision and management of assets.
• Build effective strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to implement best practices in Asset Management.

Successful candidate:

• Extensive experience in strategically managing multiple asset portfolios and enterprise-wide technologies.
• Proficiency in Asset Management software, GIS, and standard MS Office for accurate data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and negotiation.
• Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving strategic goals.
• Demonstrated ability to drive research, analyze data, and manage resources efficiently for continuous improvements.
