Asset Management | $48 - $70 per hour + Super | Initial 3-month contract + Possible Extensions

They are looking for a Senior Adviser who will join their civic and open space Asset Management team.
Your new role
You provide leadership and specialist advice on the delivery of efficient, sustainable, and timely open space Asset Management. You are responsible for developing and implementing asset and services management plans and budget management.
Additional requirements:
- Manage project and change management activities that relate to the asset planning, development, review and maintenance for the City's civic and open space network of parks, streetscapes, sport and recreation facilities.
- Review, interpret and advise on short, medium and long term Asset Management plans such as renewal programs, planning, costings, asset evaluations, inspections and corporate system updates.
- Co-ordinate and lead good Asset Management practices, including comprehensive inspections for open space assets.
What you'll need to succeed
You have extensive and demonstrated experience in strategically managing multiple asset portfolios and related enterprise-wide technologies. In addition, you have knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to open space assets with the ability to provide expert advice on accurate and timely open space asset, capital and operational financial information.
Additional qualifications:
- Highly developed computer proficiency in the operation and application of enterprise-wide technology solutions, particularly in the field of Asset Management (e.g. Asset Management software, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), standard MS Office).
- Qualification in planning, engineering, Asset Management or other relevant technical field.
