Salary range: $95,251 per annum + 12.5% superannuation.

The role will lead the Community Engagement function to provide expert advice on, and to undertake, Community Engagement across the City of Hobart based on the City’s Community Engagement Policy and Framework.
Role accountabilities include:
- Provide a public face for the City of Hobart in maintaining relationships with the community through attendance at community forums, network meetings and relevant meetings.
- Work directly with Project Managers across the organisation in a leadership role to build internal capacity and foster a positive and proactive Community Engagement culture.
- Implement a range of best practice (IAP2) Community Engagement processes as required and support project managers to manage and achieve excellent engagement outcomes
- Lead the Community Engagement function, including supervision of two Community Engagement Officers.
