Access theAbout the roleThis role delivers high quality, evidence based clinical services and leadership as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers with eating disorders, their carers, and relevant stakeholders with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery and rehabilitation framework.This role may be eligible for the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive. See link –About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated high level of contemporary knowledge, expertise and skill in the management of eating disorders with an understanding of the impact the disorder can have on the individual, family and general community.
- It is highly desirable to have proven ability to provide specialist interventions to consumers diagnosed with an eating disorder, on a group and individual level, including evidence-based treatments of CBT-E and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM).
- Demonstrated ability to participate co-operatively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively using well developed oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction with consumers, carers and other stakeholders in individual and group situations.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate quality and service improvement activities and/or research.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision and education to students, less experienced clinicians.
