Performance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Performance Analyst, within our Operational Strategy, Cost and Performance team. You will be required to manage existing and develop new reporting and business insights that support improved operational performance. You will work closely with operational business units, port leadership teams, Data and IT stakeholders to drive improvement initiatives and innovate operational performance reporting. This is a critical role to drive ongoing operational improvement.
Your main accountabilities will include:

• Developing analysis that summarises operational performance and identifying priority areas that improve our operational performance going forward.
• Leveraging Operational Reporting analysis and insights to proactively identify focus areas and ports that will drive the improvement.
• Working closely with frontline operational teams to identify and co-create improvement initiatives.
• Coordinating and contributing to monthly Performance forums
• Providing input to relevant Projects and Steerco’s on operational performance issues
• Integrating and automating new data sources into reporting tools to facilitate improvement in reporting insights and capabilities.
• Manage existing and create new operational dashboards and automated reporting solutions
• Managing the back-end reporting and metric rules to ensure quality and accuracy in reporting.
• Ensuring that all activities undertaken fall within organisational policies and procedures and comply with corporate standards
• Manage periodic reporting on operational performance to Integrated Planning, Operational Leadership, QF group and external stakeholders where required (e.g. BITRE)

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

• Preferably Degree qualified in highly analytical subject e.g. Economics, Maths, Engineering, Data Sciences etc.
• Extensive experience in modelling and analysing business strategy
• Strong ability to develop analytical frameworks including trend analysis for addressing new/varied business opportunities
• Demonstrated experience developing PowerBI dashboards
• 2+ years working experience in analytical occupation, with a preference for experience in operational performance is highly desired.
• Experience in Aviation with understanding of key operational metrics (OTP, cancellations, NPS, utilisation) is highly desired.
• Collaborative working style with an ability to work effectively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes in a complex business environment.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and highlights key insights and can influences business decisions.
