Our opportunity
As a Senior Analyst, Development New Business and Structured Projects, you will support the Commercial & Mixed-use New Business function (including BTR, Industrial, Commercial and Mixed Use) and the Product Origination and Structured Projects team, to execute strategy and key deliverables through feasibility and investment modelling and analysis, keeping abreast of market transactions and assumptions, liaising with the broader Mirvac businesses including finance, treasury, accounting, development and investments and producing reports and commentary as required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Feasibility, cashflow and capital management, project management and assistance to the development team, project support and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain financial models underpinning New Business opportunities and investment strategies. This includes building development and investment models, running various scenarios to test different strategies and producing succinct summaries of the results.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to ensure robust cashflow management and forecasting in place, building an improved focus on cashflow outcomes for the division.
- Assist with reconciliation of project actuals in feasibilities to ensure completeness of costs including reforecast of future cashflows and stage and consolidated level metrics.
- Manage the successful transition and handover of feasibility's from New Business to Development and Delivery, ensuring that the agreed hurdles are maintained and costs and assumptions are validated and accepted.
- Early engagement with development teams through forecasting process
- Assist with the management of key project consultants such as architects, planners, quantity surveyors to ensure financial modelling information is accurate and interpreted correctly.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and reports to joint venture partners and on/off market opportunities such as large government bids or direct acquisitions.

To be successful you will have analytical experience, with some previous experience in the property industry.
A strong financial background, with experience in building, amending and testing of financial models is highly regarded. As well as knowledge of development, investment and property management, with an understanding of relevant accounting and tax principles.
Finally, CA/CPA qualifications are preferred but not essential.
