Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner- Senior Analyst

The Opportunity:

CSL Behring (A division of CSL Ltd, an ASX Top 5 company) is looking for a Senior Analyst in the Finance Business Partnering team. You will work closely with the business to build a deep understanding of their operations and conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance and trends to provide valuable insights to senior management. This includes collaborating with the business to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts and analysing variances to budget and forecast. You will bring strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders and an ability to challenge and support the business.

The Role:

• Complete month-end tasks and providing in-depth and meaningful insights into the Opex financial performance.
• Support forecasting and annual budgeting cycles, challenging assumptions and working collaboratively with team members and other Business Partners to achieve business objectives.
• Provide the business functions within CSL Behring Australia with financial information about performance versus forecast and budget with expert analysis of variances that drive better decisions.
• Analyse labour productivity comprising of deep dive analysis of headcount, production volume, fixed and variable cost to ensure cost efficiencies across operations.
• Prepare inventory provision and work with the business towards reducing controllable write-offs.
• Have a continuous improvement mindset and work towards best in class Business Partnering and cadence.
• Review and validate operational excellence initiatives and report on the financial savings.
• Supporting Standard costing development at the Broadmeadows site, and using this information to partner with the business to promote better decisions around cost control and efficiency.
• Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in accounting and finance
• Strong SAP systems knowledge
• Professional certification (CPA/CA/CMA)
• Advanced excel skills and preferred experience with using business analytics tools such as Power query, Power BI and presentation tools like Think Cell
• Have analytical experience with the ability to translate large amounts of data into insights
• Be curious and self-motivated with strong stakeholder management skills
