Eternus is now seeking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to bring rigour to our ambitious property development goals.
About the opportunity
Reporting to our Head of Finance, and working closely with our property team, you'll play a crucial role in helping to evaluate and influence Eternus' potential property investments through financial modelling and analysis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluation & analysis of potential investment opportunities, incl. financial analysis, market research and deal evaluation.
- Reviewing business plans, proposals & financial statements relating to internal and external opportunities in the due diligence stage, as well as monitoring the performance of portfolio businesses, contributing to & guiding their successful growth strategies.
- Preparing, reviewing & presenting capital proposals & presentations to senior management & stakeholders in support of investment decisions
- Staying informed about market trends, emerging sectors & opportunities that enhance the portfolio's performance.
- Mentoring and supporting junior analysts in the team
Our ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5-7 years' experience in investment/financial analysis & valuation methodologies within the property sector
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business or a related field - CFA Qualifications desirable but not essential
- The ability to interpret financial statements, assess cash flows, and conduct financial modelling
- A proficient understanding of investment analysis techniques , DD processes, & risk management principles
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel) & excellent report-writing skills
- First rate communication and time management skills, self-motivation and professionalism.
