About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions, this role supports the execution and analysis of M&A transactions and potential M&A and divestiture opportunities.
- Analyse M&A prospects through gathering information about growth, competitors, and market share possibilities
- Financial modelling for M&A and corporate finance projects
- Assist in preparing professional standard presentations relating to transactions or other corporate finance initiatives.
- Support the execution of selected M&A and Corporate Finance projects (e.g., data room administration, etc.)
- Assist with other M&A and Corporate Finance tasks.
About you
With experience within corporate finance gained at an investment bank or chartered accounting firm you will have good knowledge of M&A and the ability to apply your skills creatively to diverse M&A projects.
- Tertiary degree - ideally in Commerce
- Well-developed financial modelling skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Solid business and commercial acumen
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills and business intuition
