Reporting to the Group Crisis and Business Continuity Manager, the Senior Analyst - Organisational Resilience will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing Crown's business continuity capabilities.
This role is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity strategies, plans, and procedures across the organisation. The Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the readiness and resilience of Crown's operations in the face of disruption.
THE ROLE
- Support the development and implementation of the business continuity program.
- Assist in conducting thorough business impact analyses to identify critical functions, processes, and resources within the organization.
- Collaborate with departmental representatives to assess their unique business continuity needs.
- Provide guidance and support in developing department-specific plans that align with the overall business continuity program, ensuring a coordinated and cohesive approach.
- Work closely with senior team members to evaluate risks, prioritize mitigation efforts, and develop strategies to enhance the organization's resilience.
- Participate actively in the design and execution and monitoring of business continuity exercises, tests, and drills.
- Engage in horizon scanning activities to stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
ABOUT YOU
- Strong practical experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity plans and programs.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, and business impact analyses alongside familiarity with incident management principles and practices would be beneficial.
- Ability to influence and engage others in business continuity efforts is crucial.
- Up to date with industry best practices, standards (e.g., ISO 22301), and regulatory requirements related to business continuity.
- Possess excellent analytical abilities to assess risks, identify critical functions, and develop effective recovery strategies.
- Proactively problem solve, capable of identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses in business continuity plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to professionally prepare reports, deliver presentations, and facilitate training sessions.
