Senior Application Packaging Engineer
Our federal government client is seeking a talented and driven Senior Application Packaging Engineer. You will be responsible for undertaking application packaging in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune for distribution to the required desktop and server endpoints. The Senior Application Packaging Engineer works under the limited direction of senior staff.
About the role:

• Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package), configure security patch delivery, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
• Design, develop, coordinate, and manage application packaging projects.
• Package applications and software updates using a scripting language.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows application packaging and deployments.
• Diagnose Windows application

About you:

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package), configure security patch delivery, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the design, develop, coordinate, and manage application packaging projects.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the package applications and software updates using a scripting language

Location and Contract Term
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT, NSW, VIC, SA, QLD. Initial contract for 12 months and high chance to be extended.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants must be Australian citizen and must have NV1 Security clearance and candidate will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
