As we continue to expand our reach and influence in the water industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Applications Engineer. In this role, you will provide technical and commercial support to our sales team, leading and managing bid submissions, post-bid clarifications, and technical representation to clients and market forums.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to business development activities, including providing general technical advice, developing concept solutions and budgets.
- Lead bid processes - develop and manage bid plan, develop and agree process solution, support accurate cost estimation and risk assessment, and prepare proposal documents.
- Lead ECI proposal development – develop and agree client deliverables and corresponding resource allocation, costing and timing, and support negotiations with clients.
- Project manage ECIs to ensure quality, timely and in-budget provision of agreed deliverables.
- Assist internal teams and external partners in delivering projects.
Additionally, when required, you will project manage development of mainly engineering and cost deliverables as part of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) type agreements ensuring these developed and provided to the client in the agreed time and quality, developed within the project budget, and are aligned with the overall project sales strategy.
Essential Position Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, with a focus on process engineering and water treatment technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Engineering, Bid Development and/or Project Management experience, preferably in the water industry.
- Knowledge of and experience with membrane technologies in general and membrane based water treatment solutions.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills in team environment with locally and remotely based members.
- Strong time management with ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
