Job description

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst!
This is a 12-month contract role with a possible 12-month extension, offering hybrid work arrangements (3 days in office, 2 days flexible) in ACT, NSW, or VIC.
As the Senior Application Support Analyst, you will:

  • Investigate and prioritize business application incidents on SAP and Salesforce platforms for NDIA staff.
  • Manage escalations of priority issues and support software release testing and cycles.
  • Utilize technical expertise and knowledge of business rules to resolve ICT system issues.
  • Communicate effectively with business staff, technical teams, and customers to troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to identify and rectify problems.
  • Apply ITIL methodology and utilize an ITSM system to manage incidents and service requests.
  • Analyze data and report findings in Excel to identify trends and root causes.
  • Support replication and testing for SIT, UAT, and BVT.
  • Assist with release cycles to support business functions.
  • Mentor team members on best practices and support techniques.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • Essential:
  • 5+ years' experience in an ICT support role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting SAP or Salesforce platforms.
  • Experience using an ICT Service Management Tool and applying ITIL methodology for incident management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Desirable:
  • Passion for accessibility and enthusiasm for inclusive design & development.
  • Ability to analyze and report data using Microsoft Excel.
Due to security requirements, you must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
